OYO NSCDC: CC Michael Adaralewa deployed 2500 Officers For 'EID El KABIR' Celebration - Advise Citizens To Take Preventive Measure As COVID 19 Is Still Very Much Around ~ PressTv

As the Muslims all over the world celebrate this year EID El KABIR festivals, the State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Oyo State, CC Michael Adaralewa have called on the citizens of the State to celebrate moderately and take all necessary preventive measure as COVID 19 is still very much around. He enjoined the citizens of the State to continue to wash their hands in a runing water, cover their nose when in public and maintain a clean environment.

Commandant Michael Adaralewa made this known today at the State Command Headquarters old Nitel building,Agodi Ibadan while addressing the management on operational order for the 2021 eid el Kabir celebration. “All officers and men of the Corps will be deployed both uniform and under cover personnel will be deployed to all flash spot in the State in other to protect lives and properties of the citizens of Oyo State”, he said.

Commandant Adaralewa who have directed all the Area Commanders, Divisional officers, Agro Rangers, Counter Terrorism Unit and Disaster management unit as part of 2500 officers deployed for the festive period to be positioned at all eid praying ground, Recreational Parks, motor parks and other places of Interest so as to be fully guarded by the personnel of the Corps to ensure hitch free celebration, also enjoined the residents of the State to feel free and celebrate without any fear from any quarters.

While wishing the Muslims faithful’s in the State happy Eid El Kabir celebration, the Commandant appealed to all residents in the State to always report any suspicious person or persons to the nearest Security agencies of government in their vicinity before the crime is been comitted and to stop sending false information . Commandant Michael Adaralewa reassured the Citizens of the State on his zero tolerance to Vandalism of Critical National Asset security in the State and his administration will continue to fight anyone or bodies that wanted to disrupt the relative peace enjoying in the State before, during and after the celebrations.

Meanwhile, Commandant Michael Adaralewa called on the parents and guidance to educate their children on the dangers involved in engaging in Vandalism and other negative vices.
