OYO NSCDC COMMANDANT COMMISSIONS BALOGUN IBIKUNLE CIVIL DEFENCE SECURITY POST ~ PressTv

The Oyo State Commandant,Commandant Adaralewa Micheal commissioned Balogun Ibikunle Civil defence Security Post today 31st July,2021 at Ayeye,Ibadan Northwest Local Government Area of Oyo State.

While delivering his goodwill message the state commandant expressed his gratitude to Ibikunle family on behalf of the Commandant General Dr Audi Ahmed Abubakar ,he implore the officer and men of the station to make judicious use of the office and infrastructure therein and carry out their duty with discipline and in a professional manner to justify the trust repose in NSCDC by the community. He emphasise on the need for well meaning individuals and community development association to emulate Gbonka Balogun of Ibadanland and the mogaji Ibikunle dynasty ,Chief Rear Admiral Adetokunbo Akintola (Rtd) who provide the conducive environment for NSCDC in ayeye ibadan to bring security closer in each community to prevent crime.

Chief Rear Admiral Adetokunbo Akintola who donated the Property to NSCDC said he decided to provide the security post to reduce crime which is predominant in the area, he added that it will also complement the efforts of Executive Governor of oyo state Engr Seyi Makinde in fighting crime and criminality.
Chief Adeaga Yemisi(President Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes) call on all the Ibadan to support NSCDC and other sister security agencies with timely information and logistics for them to protect lives and properties .,
Compol Fatai Owoseni rtd(SA to Governor Seyi Makinde on Security Matters) ably represented by AIG Adeoye rtd amongst others commend mogaji for the good gesture.
The Honorable Chairman of Ibadan Northwest Abdurahman Adepoju who later unveil the commissioning plaque said that the project is timely, especially when the state government want to train some youth in zamfara state on agriculture to get the youth engaged and reduce crime across the state
