Unlawful Detention Police Officer At Igando Division Takes Laws Into Her Hands

A Police officer in Igando Police Division Area of Lagos state is said to be frustrating the cause of justice over a case she was handling between One Mrs. Patricia Chizaga, a micro finance agent and Sarah who happened to be a daily contributor in the said finance house,

The Police officer identified As Assistant Superintendent of Police Lola Ojekwere was said to have used her position to hijack the said case from her subordinate identified as clement simply because of her personal interest in the said case

The whole development started when Sarah, a contributor , was said to have borrowed money in a micro finance house with a location in igango, owned by Patricia Chizaga,

Trouble nevertheless started when Sarah, who was said to have borrowed money failed to honor her own side of the agreement that has something to do with breach of agreement,

The whole developments were however not palatable to the finance house owner, Patricia Chizaga, prompting her decision inviting the police at igando.

Town Crier News Nigeria, however gathered the issues has generated into another dimension where the case was said to be arm-twisted.

Throwing more light into the issue, Chizaga Told Town Crier News Nigeria that one of her staff borrowed one of their contributor who is simply identified as Sarah a sum of N433, 100, hence she was a daily contributing member to the finance house and as justification, decided to hold on to Sarah’s contribution of N230,000 that was already in existence in her accounts with the finance house in an agreement of balancing the remaining N203,100 which both parties is having an understanding upon.

Trouble however broke out after the need arises for Sarah to make additional payments in return for her remaining loan she took from the finance house.

Patricia Chizaga said this was how she started receiving daily threat message from a lady whose identity could not be verified but was said to speak on behalf of Sarah, to begin by saying, ‘I ‘will kill you if you don’t give Sarah her money’’.

“This was how I was left with no option that involving the igando police division”.

She said: “one Mr. Clement was then assigned to handle the case, but what came as a surprise was how the case was transferred to one Asp Lola Ojekere and what followed next is ordering clement to give the case file to her and that I should be detained”

Town Crier News Nigeria gathered earlier before now, Sarah had taken Oodua People’s Congress Known as OPC to Patricia Chizaga’s home where she was given the beaten of life, and equally, was requested to sign a document under duress.

After i was left off the hook, ASP Lola requested I should come back today again, she told Town Crier News Nigeria.

How can someone who came to our finance house to borrow money would turn out to be the one being favored against the truth? She asked.

“How can a superintendent of police cadre be adjudicating in this manner in a case that is so glaring”

You are frustrating the cause of justice because of one interest or the order, she asked while subbing.

The lady Patricia Chigaza who gave ASP Lola Ojekere as follows; 08039419931 appeal to the Lagos state commissioner of police, CP Hakeem Odumosu to call the igando Division to order.
