Juju Music Maestro, Dayo Kujore Is Dead

The legendary Nigerian Juju music maestro, Dayo Kujore has died in an earlier hour on Monday, January 10, 2022.

The Soko Extra Crooner, Dayo Kujore reportedly gave up the ghost today. A close family disclosed that he died a few hours ago. Late Dayo Kujore was born on 4th April 1958.

Late Dayo Kujore’s daughter, Ayinke Kujore affirmed that her father died a few hours ago. Hours after, the singer’s widow reportedly confirmed the death.

News men gathered the singer was confirmed dead at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) Ikeja, Lagos after battling an undisclosed illness.

Dayo Kujore was born on April 4, 1958 in Robiyan, Abeokuta in Ogun state. He would have turned 64 on April 4, 2022.

He began playing the guitar at 10 and rose to become popular for creating a new tune from the Juju genre called Soko music.

Some of his released albums include Elevation, Wisdom, Joy, Easy Life, and the popular Soko Xtra.
