CDNI congratulates Sen. Monday Okpebholo on his victory as Edo Governor Elect

The Calm Down Nigeria Initiative congratulates Senator Monday Okpebholo and his deputy Dennis Idahosa at the just concluded gubernatorial election.

The peace, unity and development advocates group (CDNI) has expresses enthusiasm that Edo state would no doubt experience progress taking into cognizance with the track record of the governor elect.

The D.G of group, Amb.Frank Albert Jnr Okolie, says“ this victory is a testament of hard work and proof of confidence which the citizen bestows on Monday Okpebholo of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of the Edo governorship election.”

Okpebholo secured 291,667 votes, defeating Asue Ighodalo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who received 247,247.

Edo voters did well, the sort of confidence displayed during election held on Saturday has reflected the positive and efforts of PBAT administration and the party National Working Committee (NWC).

He advises the newly elected Governor to practice an inclusive leadership, hoping that his leadership would herald a much desired prosperity Edo State people is yearning for.
