Former Kwara First Lady Fights Cancer With New Movie Titled “Diamond in the Sky”

Omolewa Yetunde Ahmed.former first lady of Kwara State has reiterated her commitment and passion for cancer eradication in Nigeria.

Omolewa who led a road walk on through major streets in Ilorin the capital city of Kwara State said she wishes no cancer on anyone.

This awareness campaign is set to sensitize the people in early detection of signs as the only way treatment can start early before the ailment escalates.

She also stated that her passion for the campaign comes from the fact that she lost close ones to cancer which is the reason she also facilitated a movie titled Diamond in the Sky to further reach out and educate Nigerians about the virus.

A lead actors in the Movie, Diamond in the Sky, Omowumi Dada said that the movie is aimed to sensitizing Nigerians on the ailment
She said there is a need for better collaboration between health practitioners and Nollywood in the fight agains Cancer.
