Kendoo Oloyede Engages Oshodi APC Executives, Media Publicity Committee on PVC Registration Awareness
The Executive Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, Otunba Kehinde “Kendoo” Oloyede, has met with members of the APC Executives and the Media Publicity Committee – Who played key roles in the last local government election—to champion renewed awareness and sensitization on Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) registration.
Speaking during the engagement, Kendoo Oloyede reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to partnering with the youth for the effective development of Oshodi-Isolo’s future.
He emphasized that his government will continue to invest in agriculture and food production to strengthen food security for households across the local government area. In addition, he promised sustained investment in security and community policing to ensure the area remains peaceful and safe.
“Security is everyone’s business, and we must all be on board to keep our community safe,” he said.
The Chairman also restated his dedication to youth and women-inclusive governance, noting that leadership must reflect the active participation of all segments of society.
He pledged to continue supporting the welfare of party executives and leaders, acknowledging their crucial role in the progress of Oshodi-Isolo.
Kendoo Oloyede credited the ongoing development strides in the local government to the support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whose empowerment of local authorities has made such achievements possible.
“The best way to sustain this growth is to ensure the progress of the Renewed Hope Agenda by mobilizing, sensitizing, and educating our loved ones on the importance of the PVC,” he noted.
Highlighting ongoing projects, the Chairman announced the commencement of rehabilitation works on popular Abolaji Street in Mafoluku, describing it as a vital route in the community.
During the meeting, APC leaders advised the Chairman to maintain focus on party welfare and community empowerment, and proposed that upcoming empowerment projects should be reserved for residents with valid PVCs. This, they said, would encourage greater participation in voter registration.
The party also announced the start of the continuous PVC registration exercise, urging all members and leaders to sensitize residents on obtaining their voter’s cards to ensure a massive victory for the APC and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.
