Jose Peseiro Leaves, Eguavoen Takes Over As Interim Super Eagles Coach
The Nigeria Football Federation has moved swiftly to appoint Augustine Eguavoen as the interim Super Eagles coach following the announcement of Jose Peseiro’s departure on Friday.
The former Nigeria defender was serving as the Super Eagles Technical Director, and he is also touted as one of the leading candidates to take the job on a permanent basis.
Eguavoen will take charge of the Three-time AFCON winners on an interim basis till a permanent solution is sorted out as the NFF begins their search for Peseiro’s permanent successor.
