President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has hosted leaders and members of the City Boy Movement at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, in an engagement that brought together young political mobilisers and supporters of his administration.

The gathering, held at the Old Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, was organised under the theme “Together Till 2027: An Evening with the Original City Boy.” It was convened by the City Boy Movement in collaboration with the “Relax, Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria” movement.

Vice President Kashim Shettima also attended the event, which brought together leaders and members of the youth-oriented political organisation.

Presstv News Nigeria learnt that the gathering provided an opportunity for the President to interact with members of the movement and discuss issues surrounding youth participation, political engagement and the country’s development.

Tinubu acknowledged the importance of young Nigerians in shaping the nation’s political and socio-economic direction, while encouraging continued constructive participation in national affairs.

The engagement with the City Boy Movement comes as political activities and mobilisation gradually intensify ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Members of the movement used the occasion to reaffirm their engagement with the President and his administration, highlighting their commitment to grassroots mobilisation and youth involvement in the political process.

The presence of the President and Vice President at the gathering underscored the administration’s engagement with youth-focused political groups and their growing role in Nigeria’s political landscape.
