KOGI LABOUR UNION SALUTE BUHARI OVER IMPLEMENTATION TEAM ON AJAOKUTA

MESSAGE OF APPRECIATION TO PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI ON THE CONSTITUTION OF THE PRESIDENTIAL PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION TEAM ON AJAOKUTA STEEL COMPANY FROM THE UNITED LABOUR CONGRESS OF NIGERIA(ULC), KOGI STATE COUNCIL.We wish to thank and appreciate the President and Commander in Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Muhammadu Buhari on his effort at seeing to completion of the Largest Steel Industry in the Sub-Saharan Africa, the Ajaokuta steel company, crystallizing to the setting up the committee to see to its completion.The council wish to state that the inauguration of the committee is timely, going by the global Covid-19 pandemic raveging the entire globe and crashing the world’s economy. There’s no doubt that, the steel industry when complited will further diversify the nation’s economy, raise revenue,and create employment to the large Army of unemployed youths in Kogi state and Nigeria in general.We however, urge the members of the committee to see the assignment as a great honour done them by Mr. President, as it shall be a great service to the nation. We further ask them to intensity every effort to seeing to the earlytake off of the steel Industry.Again, we congratulate the President for taking this bold step.Comrade Opaluwa EleojoState Chairman.
