Ogunlana Adesina Ademola , the Chairman of the Radical Agenda Movement in the Nigerian Bar Association has stated that he will press on with his challenge of the imminent NBA 2020 Elections , inspite of his disqualification from contesting the Office of the President of the Nigerian Bar Association by the Electoral Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association.

According to a statement issued by Ayo Ademiluyi, the Secretary of the Radical Agenda Movement in the Nigerian Bar Association, Mr. Ogunlana made this known in the Press Conference organised today at the RAMINBA National Secretariat.

According to the text of the Press Conference with the theme , “NBA Elections and the Nigerian State” , Mr. Ogunlana stated that he intends to appeal the Ruling on the Application for Interlocutory Injunction as he is of the view that the Court , coram Honourable Justice Oyebanji misdirected himself by dismissing the application on the ground that he admitted that he has no letter of good standing while the application before His Lordship bordered on the fact that the provision invoked to disqualify him relied on a wrong provision of the law.

He also stated that from all indices , the NBA National elections coming up tomorrow will end in chaos as the vexatious issue of electronic vote rigging and manipulation has not been resolved.

He called on the NBA to act in the defence of it’s members facing debarment by the Corporate Affairs Commission and suffering in custody like Emperor Ogbonna.
