The APC Chairmanship Aspirant , National Deputy Chairman ( Association of Local Government Vice Chairmen of Nigeria) and current Vice Chairman, Ikorodu Local Government, Aarebirin Hon. Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba, has sued for peace over the decision of the Party in the just concluded primary elections of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Aarebirin Hon.Princess Olabanji-Oba, in a press release on Thursday, urged all aggrieved members to shun protest in order to have the peaceful atmosphere needed for Ikorodu to develop. She said to her IKORODU FIRST, beyond any personal interest. She stated that to her it is all about the people and the people must win . Together we will do this winning @ Victory Assured…
She especially appealed all stake holders especially women and youths to commit to peace; see themselves as brothers and sisters and ensure that the Party’s decision does not degenerate into violence and bloodbath in Ikorodu.
“Contest should not be a do or die affair for anyone, especially if the intention is genuinely to serve the people. We must do everything possible to avoid bloodshed.
“We must continue to ensure that peace continue to reign in Ikorodu, Lagos so that we can continue to enjoy and take advantage of the numerous achievements of our amiable Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu,” said Princess Olabanji-Oba.
She also urged co-contestants to realize that there can only be one winner at the end of the process
Aarebirin Princess Olabanji-Oba noted that the country is already facing many security challenges at many fronts and anything that can compound the situation and further put the already stressed security operatives under strains should be avoided.
“Lagos remains one of the most peaceful states in the country and we must all together do all we can to maintain this enviable status of the state. I therefore congratulate Hon. Wasiu Adeshina , Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government as the party’s choice and I assure him of my total commitment , dedication and passion to the service building, and greater Ikorodu of our dreams.
