The Oyo State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps(NSCDC) CC Iskilu Akinsanya have called on officers and men of the Command to give maximum support to the incoming State Commandant as it was given to him during his stay as the State Commandant.

Commandant Iskilu Akinsanya made this known today at the Command State Headquarters Agodi Ibadan, while addressing officers and men of the Command as part of his programme before reporting to his new Command posted to. Commandant Akinsanya also met with the management team of the Command and used the medium to decorate some of the senior officers that their promotions came later. One of the beneficiary of the decorations today is the State Public Relations Officers now Chief Suprintendent of Corps (CSC) Oluwole Olusegun.

Meanwhile, in continuation of his assignment before departing pacesetters State includes naming some of buildings at the Command Headquarters in the name of present and past notable officers of the Corps, such as Commandant General of the Corps CG Ahmed Abubarka Audi Conference Hall, DR Adewale Abolurin General Multipurpose Hall, Commandant Iskilu Akinsanya Sick Bay and DR John Adewoye ICT Centre.

Furthermore, Commandant Iskilu Akinsanya also commissioned a newly built Divisional Office by His Royal Majesty(Oba) Samuel O. Bamigboye Olopete of Opete Land for the use of NSCDC and the people of the community so as to bring the Security closer to the grassroots.

Commandant Iskilu Akinsanya thanks His Royal Majesty and the people of Opete land for giving the Corps a befitting office and promised them that the Corps will not let them down in his responsibility to safeguard and protect the Community and Oyo state in general.
