The Oyo State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Adaralewa Michael Akintayo has paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Governor of Oyo State His Excellency Engr Seyi Makinde and His imperial Majesty, the Olubadan of Ibadanland Oba (Dr) Saliu Akanmu Adetunji ,Aje Oguguniso 1 on Tuesday 17 August 2021.
He reiterate, his readiness to work with the state government especially on the governor agenda to rid the State of criminal element with the cooperation of the general public.
Commandant Adaralewa informed the Governor of the female armed squard undergoing rigorous training inline with the Commandant General Ahmed Abubakar Audi PhD, mni directives on safe school initiative (SSI), for the protection of our educational institutions in the state.
He reassured his Excellency of the Corps commitment to the safety of lives and property of the citizens as well as the protection of Critical National Asset and Infrastructure of Government. He emphasized and appreciate on the support given by His Excellency to the Agro-Rangers unit of the Command
Governor Seyi Makinde in his response extol oyo NSCDC officer and men who stayed outside come rain or shine in to carry out their Professional role in protection of lives and properties .”I know what you are doing, I see for myself all you are doing in my state and we as governments will not relent in giving our maximum support and assistance to make your work effective “.he said.

Commend the fatherly role of the Imperial Majesty, Oba Akanmu Adetunji, Olubadan of Ibadanland for his support to the Corps over the years, the fatherly role he is playing in ensuring societal safety and preservation of our National heritage.
Kbiye Olubadan in his response pledged his continuous support to the Corps in fighting crimes and criminality in the State. He assured the state commandant of his continuous support to the NSCDC towards fortifying the security architecture of the state.He later offered prayers for Commandant and all NSCDC staff across the nation.
