WHO IS REALLY AFRAID OF THE TRUTH? REJOINDER TO “DISPELLING THE FALSEHOOD OF DR. BOLAJI AKINYEMI” BY EVANG. IBRAHIM BULLUS ~ PressTv

Our attention has been drawn once again to

a statement penned by one Alhaji Jimoh Tajudeen Alao, purporting to be Chairman, MURIC Ogun State Chapter, titled, “Dispelling the Falsehood of Dr. Bolaji AKINYEMI” dated 11th November, 2021.

We are amused that all of sudden , different State Chapters of MURIC are shooting. First , it was an “Akwa Ibom State Chapter” and now it is
“Ogun State Chapter”.

Prior to our statement where we appropriately placed MURIC as a one-man war-mongering organisation, it was the person of Professor Ishaq Akintola that was the sole signatory of all MURIC statements.

We are further amused at the puerile attempts to create State Chapters overnight , where there is possibly none.

Now, to the meat of the statement of the Alhaji Jimoh Tajudeen Alao, the Chairman of the MURIC Ogun State Chapter , it is necessary to ask that if the Motto of MURIC is “Dialogue, Not Violence”, while is the organisation filled with “utter distaste” which Dr. Bolaji Akinyemi’s article outrightly condemning the attempt of Professor Ishaq Akintola to narrow the entire tragedy of the IKOYI BUILDING COLLAPSE to the failure of one Muslim to be given a job by a Christian.

The next question to ask is how ” bigotry laden” is the said article and how did the article attack the personality of Professor Ishaq Akintola and the Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC)?

The statement went further to state that “the write-up was filled with falsehood, mischief and inaccuracies” without providing particulars of same.

To further assert that Dr. AKINYEMI expressed ” his hatred for Islam and the rights of its adherents which MURIC stands for” begs the question as he clearly stated that the operations of MURIC stands opposed to the well known principles of ISLAM as religion of peace.

The statement betrayed emotions when it asserted that for Dr. AKINYEMI to “so boldly assert that MURIC is a one man organisation calls to question his claim to intellect as depicted by his doctorate title.”

Why the insult? Does the ludicrous statements of Professor Ishaq Akintola not bring his “Professorship” under question mark.

The statement went on to “declare Bolaji Akinyemi a profound ignoramus and a harbinger of mischief” and at the same time claim that ” the motto of MURIC is ‘Dialogue, No Violence’

With this form of “declaration”, should Dr. AKINYEMI sleep with his two eyes closed?

The “declaration” followed an early threat issued by Muric from Akwa Ibon, so from Ishaq Akintola, to his chapter of Muric in Uyo and Abeokuta dialogue to them can only be achieved via verbal harassment? Relevant security agencies should take of threat issued by “Muslims” who are far removed from the tenets of Islam as a religion of peace.

We reiterate our call for the appropriate authorities of Islam in Nigeria to call MURIC to order
