OYO NSCDC ARMED FEMALE SQUAD OFFICERS GO FOR SHOOTING EXERCISES ~ PressTv

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Oyo State Command, today took 110 of its officers which include 70 members of female armed squard and others from Counter Terrorism Unit, Anti-Vandal,Agro-Rangers and command armed squad.

This was made known today by the State Commandant Adaralewa Micheal Akintayo while addressing officers before departure to Abeokuta

He added that special female squad had been formed as a proactive measure by our Commandant General Ahmed Abubakar Audi PhD mni to guarantee safety and restore the confidence of students, parents, teachers, and the community in the country’s security architecture.

Commandant Adaralewa Michael charged the female armed squad and others going for shooting Exercises to abide by the rules and showcase professionalism in their conduct to and fro Abeokuta.

He stated further that this is part of policy of the Commandant General, Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi to rejig, revamp, resuscitate, restructure and repositioning of the Corps for better service to the Nation.

It added that the female officers had undergone intensive training in physical fitness, drills, arms’ bearing and ethics.

The commandant enjoined them to continue to remain as good ambassadors of the organisation at the same time go ahead with other training and very soon they will pass out .

The Range Exercise involved live ammunition firing at the military shooting range 35 Artillery Brigade HQ Alamala Abeokuta.
