The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Oyo State Command have secured a judgement at the federal high Court Ibadan Judicial division in the case file FHC/IB/105/2020/FRN VS AMOLE GODWIN and 1 other in a count charges of Conspiracy, Vandalization of NNPC pipeline and other two count charges in which the first defendant was sentenced to one year imprisonment each to make 4years imprisonment and to run consecutively.
The State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in the State, CC Adaralewa Michael made this known today at the Command Headquarters while addressing officers and men of Anti Vandal team on effective monitoring of NNPC right of way and all Critical National asset during this end of the year rush.
He stressed further on the judgement secured that Amole Godwin was arrested at Yakoyo area of Orire local government of Ogbomosho last year August for conspiracy, and Vandalization of NNPC pipeline.
Meanwhile, when the matter came up on 26th of October 2021, Amole Godwin pleaded guilty to the count charges before Honorable Justice Agomoh of the federal high Court Ibadan. Fact was revealed while delivering the judgement on 3rd December 2021.
The State Commandant of NSCDC, Comdt Adaralewa directed the Anti-Vandalism team of the command to maintain Zero tolerance for vandalism and those illegally dealings in Petroleum Products during the yuletide . He seeks the cooperation of the public and stakeholders in other to sustain the fight against vandalism by NSCDC in Oyo State and promise to ensure justice is never deny.
Commandant Adaralewa Michael later enjoined parents and guidance in the State to warn their children to desist from anything that is unlawful as NSCDC and other Security agencies will not leave any stone unturned in dealing with anyone caught in the act.
