Global Group Mobilises Support for Tinubu’s Presidency; ‘the Asiwaju we know will not let our people down. We have consulted him and he assured us he is coming to right the wrongs’

The Bola Ahmed Tinubu Vanguard, BATV, has vowed to deploy all means possible to ensure the emergence of Leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, as president of Nigeria, come May 29, 2023.

The group, comprising of agitators for a better Nigeria, home and abroad, at a visual meeting held by members to strategise on how to sensitise Nigerians to embrace the APC Leader, hinged their resolve on the competence of Asiwaju Tinubu to deliver the country out of current socio-economic doldrums and rev up her prostrate economy back to feet.

They posited that the unequaled record of Asiwaju Tinubu as a finance expert, economic strategist, humanist and the potential of having the ability to effectively unify the country,, distinguished him as one with the Midas touch to pilot Nigeria to her desired Eldorado.

BATV thus concluded that it would work and contribute substantially to ensure Asiwaju Tinubu clinch the APC presidential ticket and eventually lead the country to fruition.

At the meeting which was attended by about 150 participants from all continents of the world, the Director General of the BATV, Dr Salewa Olafioye, enjoined participants to be heartily committed to the course, just as their resolve should be pursued with energy and vigour, to ensure requisite success.

According to him, BATV is one of the largest support groups of the Asiwaju for president project, even as he acknowledged that all interest groups in same pursuit should work hand in hand and not see selves as rivals.

Corroborating, America-based Chief Olusegun Ajibulu and Public Relation Officer of the group, encouraged members to be ready to support the course, both physically and financially, noting that even as laudable as the project is, the need for financial commitment is vital for its effective drive.

“All of us should be ready to stand firm to ensure this project sails through effectively. Several insinuations would come but we should remain focused and not be distracted. We have to ensure we spread the message far and wide, here in the diaspora and also take it home to our teeming friends, relatives, loyalists and associates. We need to adequately espouse the virtues of Asiwaju to those who do not know the stuff he is made of, and be ready to support the course financially.

“Financial support may not mean contributing money to give Asiwaju Tinubu. Some of us who have walked this path in the past will know that as we move, we will be committed to take some steps to help his (Asiwaju) campaign. These will require money, hence the need for us to be adequately prepared for the task ahead. We did it to support Late Moshood Abiola and Chief Olu Falae in the past,” he said.

Pastor Joseph Ajibolade, who spoke in from Canada, emphasized that the resolve to narrow down on Asiwaju Tinubu was borne out of his impeccable track records, both as a successful and brilliant public servant and suave politician.

“At this point of our national life, what Nigeria and the Nigerians need is somebody that we can all trust, somebody we believe have the requisite intelligence and expertise to drive the country generously. Asiwaju’s past achievements qualifies him for

who we need. He has the wherewithal to turn around the country. He has lived abroad and made exploits and has also participated well in Nigeria’s politics. He should be the bridge we need between the north and the southern parts of our country,” he said.

Chief Strategist and Michigan State Coordinator of BATV, Ambassador Titus Amadi, assured that the group would soon begin a massive awareness to drive home the resolve and also ensure that Asiwaju Tinubu is embraced as who will lead the country to liberation, from May, 2023.

“We shall spread the gospel. It is going to be a crusade, because the Asiwaju we know will not let our people down. We have consulted him and he assured us he is coming to right the wrongs. His records, his accomplishments, speak for him,” he stressed.

Dr Fidelis Okoye, enjoined members not to relent in drawing in more people to join the BATV wagon, saying this will boost the looming awareness campaign the group is set to embark upon.
