Zenith Bank Manager’s Wife Commit Suicide In Lokoja

Zenith bank PLC in Lokoja was last weekend thrown into commotion as workers wondered what could have been the reason behind a sacrilegious act of their manager’s wife, Aisha Habib Omuya who committed suicide last Saturday.
Mr Habib Omuya, the manager of Zenith bank in Lokoja told PRESSTV ( thepresstv.com.ng ) that his wife had been threatening to commit suicide but Omuya could not stop his first love of about 16 years of marriage from taking her life hence the sad occurrence happened.
The deceased committed suicide in her husband house by hanging herself with rope on Saturday 4th, February, 2023.
PRESSTV established the fact late Mrs Aisha Habib Omuya was a lecturer at Confluences University Of Science and Technology Osara Kogi State before her last breath and her marriage with the banker is blessed with children.
It was gathered that crisis engulfed Omuya’s home when the banker got married to a second wife four months ago. This, according to findings was not go down well with Aisha who left her matrimonial home in protest.
“She left the house for three months, leaving our four kids behind, and even went to Sharia Court seeking divorce – the Sheikh in court had to called me and I honoured their invitation, but with the intervention of our families we could not divorce”, Omuya said, adding that her late wife also attended the weeding ceremony of the new wife.
“We got married sixteen years ago, and we had no issue untill recently when I married a new wife.
My family and I pleaded with her. In fact, Dr. Kabir Zubair of Federal Medical Center, Lokoja, who happens to be her uncle talked to her before she could return home recently”, Omuya, the deceased husband told PRESSTV
Mrs Aisha returned home last Thursday after four months she had left her husband house. Surprisingly, she hanged herself to death on Saturday inside her husband house. This according to her husband was done in the toilet while her children was also at home.
The bereaved banker claimed her late wife penned down a note but such note could be thoroughly investigated as there are insinuation of covering up from powerful forces withing Kogi state not to escalate the matter.
However, our Watchdog’s team are still investigating as we’re committed to expose any covering up behinds Mrs Aisha’s death.
