OYO NSCDC Charges Officers On Professionalism, Reiterates Her Commitment To Public Safety Before, During, and After the 2023 General Election
As the countdown to the 2023 general remains four (4) days, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Oyo state commandant, CC Adaralewa Micheal Akintayo has reassured the people of Oyo state of the command commitment to provide adequate security with professionalism in line with the electoral act for the coverage of the general elections.
The reassurance was made today during the recap of the security evaluation in the state with all management teams and the Heads of departments in attendance. Commandant Adaralewa Micheal Akintayo made it known that all security agencies are ready for the general elections that will come up on 25th February 2023.
He charged the officers and men of the corps to be professional with a high sense of discipline and fairness while discharging their duties throughout the electioneering process. Commandant Adaralewa reiterated that all the training given to officers before the forthcoming election has been provided, for exhibiting their professionalism before, during, and after the election.
Akintayo enjoins the public to be adherent to the laws guiding elections and admonishes parents to warn their wards against disrupting the peaceful process of election and anyone found wanting will face the full wrath of the law.
