LIQUEFIED PETROLEUM GAS ASSOCIATION SEEKS COLLABORATION WITH OYO STATE NSCDC
The chairman Nigeria liquefied petroleum gas association (NLPGA) Oyo State branch has commended the NSCDC Oyo State command for the great job done by protecting and supporting the activities of the Nigerian liquefied petroleum gas association.
Mr Olaloye Israel made the commendations today during the courtesy visit to the NSCDC command headquarter, Old Nitel Building Agodi, Ibadan. He solicited for more cordial relationship between the association and the command.
He applauded the Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear and Explosive Unit ( CBRNE) of the command for the excellent cooperation with the association so far.
Meanwhile, during the courtesy visit the Chairman of the association reiterated that the retailers erecting within residential areas are not registered members of the association in the state. He said with the support of your agency we can get them removed from the system stated by the Chairman.
In his response, commandant Michael Adaralewa stated that the safety of the citizen of the State is paramount, and made it known that the command will work with the association to sanitize the State of unregistered members who operate in residential areas from unforeseen circumstances like fire outbreak and warned the association to desist from illegal activities as the command will not hesitate to take necessary measures against any one found in the act.
The commandant later assured the association of the Command’s readiness to give them the necessary backup whenever the association calls for their support.
