CDIN PRAISES TINUBU GOVT OVER DISTRIBUTION OF CNG BUSES, URGE NIGERIANS TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF CONVERSION CENTERS

Calm Down Nigeria Initiative, a peace, unity and development advocates group in Nigeria, (CDNI), has lauded President Bola Tinubu’s administration for fulfilled its promise to the Trade Union Congress (TUC) and Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) by delivering 64 compressed natural gas (CNG) buses each to Labour and student leaders at the State House in Abuja on Sunday.

The Federal Government rollout the first phase of a larger initiative to distribute over 500 CNG and 100 electric buses to labour and student unions across the country, aimed at improving public transport nationwide.

The Director-General of the group (CDIN), Amb.Frank Albert Jnr Okolie, commended the Nigeria government for the initiative.

“This marks another milestone in the policies of President Bola Tinubu. A New Nigeria is on the way, by demonstrating its commitment to providing affordable and environmentally friendly transportation for citizens,” Okolie stated.

He added that the CNG conversion centers should be taking more serious; while calling on Nigerians, commercial transport unions, vehicles owners to switch to CNG option as it cheaper – To reducing public transportation costs, lowering the cost of living when all key into use of CNG.
