The Executive Governor of Lagos State, Gov. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, today Monday 11th May 2026 received the newly deployed Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone 2 Command Headquarters Onikan, AIG Olorundare Moshood Jimoh in the presence of the Executive Secretary/CEO of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund LSSTF, Dr. Ayodele Ogunsan and other government officials at the State House, Ikeja.

The high-level courtesy visit focused on strengthening security collaboration, sustaining peace, safety and policing efforts in Lagos and neighboring states including Ogun State under the Zone 2 Command, Presstv News Nigeria can report.

The LSSTF CEO, Dr. Ogunsan emphasized the need for a shared commitment to sustaining security, peace and stability in Lagos. The meeting also featured the presentation of souvenirs between Governor Sanwo-Olu and the AIG Zone 2.

Among top police officers present at the meeting were the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Fatai Tijani; DC Admin, Zone 2, DCP B.A Mohammed; DCP Hakeem Ajasa; DC Admin, Lagos Police Command, DCP Khan Salihu; ACP Mary Ayim, alongside other police officers.
