QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS REGARDING TRAVEL RESTRICTION TO NIGERIA IMPOSED AS PART OF MEASURES TO COMBAT THE CORONAVIRUS
Following the announcement of travel restriction measures taken by the Federal Government to contain and manage the spread of COVID-19 on Wednesday 18th March, 2020, the Presidential Task Force has, as part of the continuing engagement with members of the public, found it necessary to provide answers to the following frequently asked questions.

Question 1
Q. What is restricted entry?
A. It means you will not be allowed into the country if you live in or have visited these countries in the last fifteen (15) days.
Question 2
Q. As a Nigerian returning home, does restricted entry apply to me?
A. No, you will be allowed in but subject to supervised self-isolation for Fourteen (14) days after arrival.
Question 3
Q. As a diplomat, does restricted entry affect me?
A. No, you will be allowed into Nigeria but subject to supervised self- isolation for Fourteen (14) days after arrival.
Question 4
Q. I am resident in Nigeria but hold a foreign passport. Does restricted entry affect me?
A. No, you will be allowed into Nigeria but subject to supervised self- isolation for Fourteen (14) days after arrival
Question 5
Q. I will be transiting through one of the 13 countries to get into Nigeria. Does restricted entry affect me?
A. Yes, if you have been to any of the countries mentioned, you will not be allowed into Nigeria, except you are a returning Nigerian, resident or diplomat.

Q. When does this come into effect?
A. Saturday, 21st March, 2020
