Yinka Quadri at 67: Nollywood Veteran Chooses Prayers, Charity Over Grand Celebration

Veteran Nollywood actor Yinka Quadri has marked his 67th birthday with prayers, charity and remembrance, choosing a day of service and gratitude over an elaborate celebration.

Quadri said he spent the morning at home in prayers before proceeding to a charity home to share with people in need. He also remembered his late parents and Ogogo in his prayers, asking Allah to grant them eternal rest.

In a message shared on his social media page, Presstv News Nigeria learnt that the actor expressed gratitude to Allah for the gift of life, protection, mercy and the opportunity to celebrate another milestone.

He prayed for long life, sound health, peace, prosperity and a life filled with purpose and positive impact.

Quadri also said family members, friends, fans and colleagues who wished to celebrate with him could visit after his charity outing, stressing that their prayers and goodwill meant more to him than an elaborate event.

The actor wrote: “Alhamdulillahi Rabbil ‘Alamin. Glory be to God Almighty, for He alone makes all things possible. Today, I am +1. I am deeply grateful to Allah for the gift of life, for His protection, His mercy, and for bringing me to yet another beautiful milestone.”

He concluded by praying that Allah grant him “long life, sound health, peace, prosperity, and a life filled with purpose and impact.”
